The following objectives and targets have been established by NYK Logistics (UK) Ltd as part of the Quality and Environmental strategy:
- Create a framework that allows individual sites/contracts to fulfill customer requirements
- Continual improvement through the setting, monitoring and evaluation of company nominated key performance indicators
- Comply with legal legislation and other requirements that the company subscribes to
- Provide a means of feedback to senior managers from our customers
- Set objectives and targets that are developed, considering significant environmental aspects, technological options and financial, operational and business plans, and the views of interested parties
- Comply with current legal legislation and other requirements, to which NYK Logistics (UK) Ltd subscribes
- Promote a continuous improvement culture, enforcing Plan-Do-Check-Act philosophy across all business functions
- Standardise best practice system tools and techniques that are made readily available within all Business functions across NYK Logistics (UK) Ltd
- Work to create new values so that our customers will consider us a trusted and reliable partner
- Ensure all staff undertake the necessary training that is recorded in relation to assigned job function
